About

One developer. The UI kit he wished existed.

Web developers have shadcn and a hundred component libraries. App developers had bits and pieces. ExpoKit is polished, animated UI for Expo & React Native — built by one person, copied into your app as code you own.

From the founder

I'm on X every day looking at the apps people ship, and I've built a lot of apps myself. Every time, the same thing slowed me down: the UI.

On the web you have shadcn and hundreds of component libraries that make building fast. For mobile apps there was nothing close. I researched for a long time and found bits and pieces — nothing that felt good enough.

So I built the thing I wished existed: one place for polished, animated components for Expo & React Native that you copy in and own. Front-end is what I'm best at, and I'll keep shipping better pieces.

Use it, break it, and tell me what you think.

Coming next

Whole apps, in one command.

Run one command and get a complete app — screens, navigation and UI, ready to run. Then change anything you like, because it's your code.

What it stands for

Built like a product, not a snippet.

  1. 01

    Your code, not a dependency

The CLI copies readable, typed source into your project. No black box, no version lock-in — rename it, restyle it, rip it apart.

  2. 02

    Motion that feels native

Springs, gestures and haptics tuned on real phones, so a sheet, a slider or an OTP field feels at home on iOS and Android.

  3. 03

    Runs where you already are

Plain React Native and Expo — no native modules, no prebuild. Expo Go, dev builds and the web.

  4. 04

    Accessible by default

Roles, states and labels for VoiceOver and TalkBack, and thumb-sized touch targets on every control.

Say hi, ask for a component, or help it grow.

Requests and bug reports shape what ships next. If ExpoKit saves you time, sponsoring keeps the free tier free.
